Christine Yu

Co-founder

Christine is a distinguished AI expert with a comprehensive background in machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing.

She completed her Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at McGill University, one of the top universities in Canada, graduating with the highest GPA in her department and earning British Association Medals. She then pursued a Master's degree in Machine Learning and Computer Vision at McGill, laying the foundation for her impressive career in Artificial Intelligence.

With 10+ publications in top-tier ML conferences, she demonstrated her expertise in both computer vision and large language models. As a Tech Lead at an AI company, Christine led her team in developing several large-scale generative AI solutions for enterprises. Additionally, she demonstrates exceptional proficiency in managing AI projects and providing daily guidance to researchers.

Fluent in English, French, and Chinese, she brings a global perspective to her work and teaching, enabling her to convey complex AI concepts to diverse audiences effectively.

Lionel’s research spans fascinating areas including 2D and 3D Generative AI, self-supervised learning, meta-learning, and domain adaptation.

He finished his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering at McGill University. Deeply fascinated by computer vision, he decided to pursue a Master's degree in the field. He obtained his first patent based on his master's thesis.

At work, Lionel has made significant contributions to prestigious AI enterprises as a Senior ML Engineer, where he applied cutting-edge AI technologies to solve real-world challenges. His experience in biomedical machine learning can also showcase the versatility of his skills. His innovative work has led to numerous patents, research publications, and technical blogs.

In addition, Lionel is at the forefront of generative AI, a field revolutionizing various industries worldwide. His passion lies in harnessing the power of AI to create innovative videos. With hands-on experience in developing and implementing generative AI, he brings a unique perspective to the classroom.
